Global Hospitals is the brainchild of Dr. K. Ravindranath, a pioneer in Laparoscopic Surgery in India. A long and successful international career in Surgical Gastroenterology and Laparoscopic Surgery has made him one of India’s most admired gastrointestinal surgeons. In recognition of his services he has been chosen President of the Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endosurgeons (IAGES) and Vice – President of the Association of Endoscopic and Laparoscopic Surgeons of Asia, Singapore
Working closely with the King’s College Hospital’s Liver Transplant team fuelled Dr. K. Ravindranath’s desire to establish transplantation facilities of similar standards in India. With experienced physicians and surgeons joining hands with him, he realised his dream of unveiling India’s first dedicated multi-organ transplant facility. It is the first corporate hospital to be recognised as a research canter by the R&D wings of the Dept. of Industrial Research Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India. Global Hospitals is engaged in continuous research and clinical trials to improve patient care and bring down costs.

Ravindranath Medical foundation set up by the Hospital, runs Global School of Nursing which offers a 3 ½ year Diploma course in Nursing.
